No-Jepaco is a small company operating in Tanzania from their headquarters in Arusha. The company has historically focused on producing organic and high-quality ginger primarily for export. More recently, No-Jepaco has broadened its product line with a locally sourced honey and are planning to expand further with the commercialization of black pepper and cloves.
In the past years, No-Jepaco has become a point of reference for many people in Arusha region. The team and the broader community of farmers spread across the whole country are deeply committed to bringing a positive impact to their local communities. Empowering local farmers, bringing knowledge, re-investing in the country, and supporting orphans from local orphanages. All profits are dedicated to schooling and education purposes for the orphans and consequently securing them a job in the No-Jepaco ginger farm.
When COVID-19 kicked in, the team started the engagement activities with potential clients for the export of their organic ginger and bee honey. As for many other businesses, the unexpected pandemic has destroyed business as usual and forced No-Jepaco to rethink its logistics and operation, both on the supply and demand sides. Moving in the country has become difficult, and communication with farmers in remote areas of the southern regions impossible. Global partners have been delaying payments, forcing the company to manage cash and working capital tightly.
In this challenging moment, trainon.co has decided to invest and support No-Jeapco to develop a new and more resilient business model. In line with our core expertise, we work closely with the management to harmonize and strengthen the brand image across served markets. With our global approach, as well as branding and marketing, we streamline a unique value proposition capable to guide the company across complex situations. With the refreshed brand, we look into potential international growth strategies to diversify customers and unlock extra profits. But these are just some of the actions we took to support No-Jepaco. We established a flexible and continuous support model that allows the team and us to answer to the ever changing environment promptly.
We are extremely proud of our relationship with No-Jepaco and we at trianon.co continuously dedicate our time and effort to have our fair share in the post pandemic recovery process and especially, help those in need.
